OPC Area Program Board
OPC Area Program Board is comprised of Community Members and Representatives for Orange, Person and Chatham Counties.

The Orange-Person-Chatham Area Program Board (OPC) serves as the comprehensive planning, budgeting, implementing, and monitoring group for community-based mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse programs. It is a local political subdivision of the State.

The OPC Board meets regularly the 2nd Monday of the month at 7 p.m. and currently there are 8 vacancies on the Board. The Board is especially seeking individuals to complete their Board per statutory requirements, i.e. a Professional with Financial Expertise, a Professional with management of Business Skills, and a Family member of consumer with a developmental disability (Family member includes; next of kin, parent, or guardian of a client. Family member does not need to be an OPC client).
